Can I park at Flag Fen Archaeology Park?

Yes, there is ample parking including disabled places.

When is Flag Fen Archaeology Park open to the public?

Flag Fen is open all year round, with seasonal opening hours.

Spring / Summer Flag Fen is open 10am – 4pm (last admission at 3.15pm), Thursday - Monday.

Autumn / Winter Flag Fen is open 10am - 4pm (last admission at 3.15pm), Friday - Sunday

Can I bring my dog to Flag Fen Archaeology Park?

No, unfortunately visitors are not able to bring dogs. We have livestock (rare breed sheep) on site, who are not used to dogs. The exception is support dogs, who must be kept on leads at all times.

Is Flag Fen Archaeology Park wheelchair accessible?

The site is partially accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs. There is an accessible route from the visitor centre, to the Causeway preservation hall and Hudson Barn. The mere walk may not be suitable for buggies and wheelchairs in wet weather as it is a combination or grass and wood chip path surface.

WiFi is available at at Flag Fen Archaeology Park.

Can I take photographs?

Yes, you can take photographs at our heritage sites, however they must be for your own personal use. Commercial photography may incur a charge - please contact us for more details. Please abide by any restrictions signposted at our sites during your visit, as some artefacts and exhibitions are not able to be photographed.
