CPD Sessions at Flag Fen:

Flag Fen Archaeology Park – A local history study

Venue: Flag Fen Archaeology Park, PE6 7QJ
Duration: Up to a full day (10am-2.30pm) depending on your requirements.
Price: Full day - £250 + VAT per group. Half day - £200 + VAT.

Aims:

Develop teachers’ knowledge and understanding of Flag Fen and inspire teaching of local history
Consider how the Flag Fen site could be used to enhance pupils learning
Take ideas back to the classroom

Using objects and artefacts to enhance learning

Duration: Half day – 10am-12pm. We can discuss options to create your visit to a full day.

Price: Half day - £200 + VAT. Full day - £250 + VAT per group.

Aims:

Increase confidence with using objects to support learning in the classroom
To understand how using objects in the classroom can assist with developing pupils’ analytical, observation,
communication and deeper thinking skills
Generate ideas to take back to the classroom

Forest School

Venue: Flag Fen Archaeology Park, PE6 7QJ
Duration: Half day – 10am-12pm. We can discuss options to create your visit to a full day.
Price: Half day - £200 + VAT. Full day - £250 + VAT per group.

Aims:

To understand the Forest School ethos.
Generate ideas for Forest School activities to use back at school.
Consider how Forest School activities can be themed to complement a range of areas of the curriculum.
Consider how Forest School activities can complement learning in different curriculum areas.
