🔔Oh no! Jingles the Elf has lost the sleigh-bells! Can you help find them before Christmas Eve? Head to the Dig Tent and join the festive search—Santa's counting on you!

🎅Meet Father Christmas and let his magical presence captivate your little ones! He’ll listen to all their Christmas wishes and give each child a special gift to take home. Don’t forget to snap a photo with Father Christmas to capture the moment!

🌟Your visit includes all-day entry to Flag Fen Archaeology Park, access to the playground, a festive trail, and fun Christmas craft activities with the Elves! Children can create their very own wish decoration to take home and hang on the tree.

Tickets & booking

At booking, choose one of the available grottos (Each grotto experience is the same):

Jingles' Grotto
Snowball's Grotto
Tinsel's Grotto

Then select 'Additional guests' to your chosen session time. Max party size 6 people per grotto (E.g 2 adults (max) and 4 children(max))

Grotto ticket:

£22.00 per grotto (Includes 1 child & 1 adult)

Additional guests:

£12.00 per additional child (Incl. gift) | £6.80 per additional adult | Free for babies in arms (no gift included)

FAQs

What time do I need to arrive?

Your ticket will give you full day access to Flag Fen Archaeology Park which will be open from 9.30am - 4pm. The time issued on your Eventbrite ticket is your meet and greet grotto session with Father Christmas.

Please arrive at our 'DIG TENT' 10 minutes before your meet & greet grotto session with Father Christmas and have lots of festive fun with the elves. The 'DIG TENT' is approx. 5 minute walk from our Visitor Centre.

How long is the event?

Your ticket will give you full access to Flag Fen Archaeology Park all day, which is open from 9.30am - 4pm. The time issued on your ticket is your meeting time to have your private meet & greet with Father Christmas. The reindeer will be onsite between 11am - 3pm.

Private grotto session duration is approximately 10 mins

What is the maximum number of people in a grotto?

6 people.

I am an annual pass holder, do I get a discount?

Thank you for your continued support as an annual pass holder! For this special event, however, we won't be offering discounted ticket prices. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the unique experience we have planned!

Does each child receive a gift?

With every child ticket, and grotto ticket, the child will receive a small gift from Father Christmas.

Babies in arms are free, however will not receive a gift. If you wish for you child to receive a gift you will need to purchase a child ticket.

Do I get the meet the Reindeer?

If your Grotto visit is outside reindeer times (11am–3pm), don’t worry— your ticket is valid for entry into Flag Fen all day and there’s plenty to enjoy!
Alongside your Father Christmas experience, you can:

Join in children's crafts and seasonal activities
Warm up with delicious food and drinks from our Roundhouse Cafe
Take part in hunt for Jingle's lost sleigh-bells in the Dig Tent
Enjoy the attractions of Flag Fen (Pre-historic roundhouse, visit the Museum and enjoy nature spotting around the mere)

Can I feed the reindeer?

No. Feeding the reindeer is not offered as it upsets their regular eating habits.

Accessibility?

There are accessible routes for pushchairs and wheel chairs, but can become muddy in the Autumn/Winter months. You will walk/journey across uneven surfaces, open-air areas and across routes outdoors in all weather conditions, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
