Flag Fen: A Monumental Discover
Information for teachers

Flag Fen is famous for its prehistoric wooden causeway and platform, hidden underground for thousands of years until its discovery in 1982. During your visit, you’ll see these ancient timbers in their original location, preserved to prevent decay. Depending on your booked session, you'll explore how prehistoric people used this site for travel and ceremonies, bringing the past to life through hands-on learning.
